Lost and found.

Having internet access back, after two days of not having it, is like your kitten being lost, then finding her and bringing her back home.  All you want to do, once she's home, is pet the kitten.

Sweet, sweet kitten.

  1. I love your blog - which is what a blog should be - tho I feel like an eavesdropper sneaking in to read it whenever I'm supposed to be writing. Also I so admire your invisible links - how do you do that? Wit and technical acuity - not fair. I came across your blog by accident but I have since deduced that you are also the author of a book of poems I have long admired. I once badly mangled one of your poems ("Happiness") to your face, trying to tell you how much I liked it.

  2. I'm with Emma J. I adore your blog--feel bereft, in fact, if I can't check in at least two or three times a day.

  3. Well I know what a mess I would be if I had to go through the ordeal of no internet access, for any amount of time, that was not my choice. Talk about chill you to the core!

Sometimes I take things for granted.. I totally get what you're saying about the lost and found. And tonight, I will be giving my internet box thingy under my computer desk a hug.. may that never happen to me.

    Ever.

    EVER.
