I am not a movie watcher like you are a movie watcher but the attention you bring to your watching -- I love that. <br /><br />I was very glad to hear they cast Jude Law as Karenin and made his pain and loss palpable and real instead of glossing over it as the just deserts of the frumpy husband. Anna Karenina was the book I read and re-read through high school, one of the books I keep reading now, the archaeological geological strata of the characters, their pain, selfishness, desires all tug, all devastate.
